Hygiene training
This course (otherwise known as basic food hygiene) is generally recognised as the minimum training requirement for food handlers. Delegates are provided with basic food hygiene knowledge, allowing them to make, sell and serve safe food.

Knowledgeable and informed Managers that are able to demonstrate a good understanding of food safety and instruct others are fundamental to your food business. This three day workshop (also known as intermediate food hygiene course) builds on basic food hygiene knowledge and looks in more depth at food safety hazards, controls and the application of HACCP principles to manage food safety.
The course programme includes:

- Food safety hazards; microbiology and food poisoning
- Control of contamination
- Food Safety Management Systems and HACCP
- Food hygiene regulations
- The role of the Manager
- Course assessment is a multiple choice examination
HABC accredited Level 2 and Level 3 food hygiene training courses. We are an Approved HABC Training Centre, registered to provide training and examinations that lead to recognised food safety qualifications.
Our courses incorporate a good mix of visual aids and practical activities and are delivered by approved, experienced tutors that have a background in both enforcement and catering.
Training is conducted at your premises for up to a maximum of 12 delegates.
The cost of our Level 2 food hygiene training is £450, plus a fee of £15 per delegate. The delegate fee covers all course materials, exam fee and food hygiene certificate.
The cost of our Level 3 food hygiene training is £1350 plus a fee of £55 per delegate. The delegate fee covers all course materials, exam fee and food hygiene certificate.
Tutors travel costs to your venue are charged at 45p/mile or standard 2nd class rail.
