A documented food safety management system is a legal requirement. The systems we develop are written in simple language, allowing them to be used as training or instructional manuals for food handling staff and managers. Each system comes complete with HACCP forms that can provide a ‘due diligence’ defence. A review service is also offered, for companies needing to update or re-assess their food safety system.
Legal Assistance and Complaint Investigation
Independent investigation of food complaints reassures your customers that food safety is taken seriously. We can investigate both foreign body complaints and food poisoning allegations. Where necessary we will provide you with an assessment of your due diligence.
In the event of enforcement action, we can liaise with the local authority or provide legal assistance reports to help reduce the likelihood or impact of legal action.
For food businesses using the ‘Safer Food Better Business’ pack, (SFBB), we offer coaching sessions that will assist with the necessary completion of the documentation. These sessions also equip managers with the skills necessary to instruct staff and train in the pack at their own premises. Such skills are essential for the on-going implementation of the pack and fulfilment of legal requirements
Our pricing structure is transparent and competitive. There are no hidden extras and you only pay for the services you use. Consultancy is charged at £60 per hour. In some instances we are able to provide a fixed quotation for consultancy services.
